
Somehow I made it half way to 90. If you're anywhere near that magic number yourself, chances are you have experienced one or more of the following:
Parenthood
Balding
Sciatica
Divorce
Career Change
Home Ownership
Mid-Life Crisis
One thing you may have missed along the way is a flat belly. And it's almost certain you're not sporting anything remotely resembling a six pack these days. So who cares? Maybe it doesn't matter that your belt line cuts into your midriff like a razor-sharp machete clearing a jungle path. But I suspect that besides the obvious health benefits of a moderately low body fat percentage, you may have coveted a waistline that wasn't 1.5+ times your inseam, if only for cosmetic purposes.
Well, that's what I'm going to help you do in the coming weeks on this humble, heartfelt blog.
So who am I to pontificate on such lofty matters?
My chosen career (after a 15-year temporary insanity in corporate finance) is as an ACE and NASM-certified personal trainer. And in the past three years I've been a continuing ed provider (training for the trainers) for both organizations as well.
Finally, I currently have (didn't always, believe me) less than 10% body fat. And I did it in a healthy way (no drugs, supplements, radical diets or excessively time-consuming exercise sessions). So I'm pretty confident I can teach you how to do the same thing - or at least drop a lot of fat that you don't need (or want).
